However, when Derick took the assignment to bring down the Black Tar Boyz neither he nor the FBI could have known just how deep he would go undercover how easily he would fit into his new persona, or how hard it would be to bring him back when the game, the mean Brooklyn streets and a new found love grabbed a hold of him!

This book was really a book that just didn't sit too well with me. It moved in too many different directions to follow. I personally didn't like how Derrick flipped on the FBI and all the senseless killing that were going on especially at the hands of a EX FBI agent. I still have less than 100 pages to go, but I've decided that I've given as much to this book as I can. Someone else may like it but it wasn't for me. Next......Product details

I loved this book it was amazing. Trae definitely what it takes to be a creative writer. I hope he keeps up the great work. This was a suspense from the begining to the end. I could not put the book down.
I found myself struggling to get through the first part of the book. Once the story unfolded I could not wait to see how the story would end. If you liked the movie where 'LL Cool J played God the drug dealer you will love the way this story unfolded. Long but a good read.
THIS BOOK WAS GOOD!!! I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE BOOK 5 STARS, BUT CHAPTER 25 WAS MISSING AND IN CHAPTER 29 A PARAGRAPH IS REPEATED TWICE. OVERALL, I COULD NOT PUT THE BOOK DOWN, THE SUSPENSE WAS KILLING ME!!! I'M READY FOR BOOK TWO!! WAY TO GO WAHIDA AND TRAE!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
This book kept my interest throughout the entire book. It was not predictable and the surprises kept coming. I did not care for the endings. I would have preferred a happier ending but hey some could argue that every one in the book got their just dessert in the end. I would recommend the book if you are looking for something a little different than your typical urban street lit while not compromising the hood tales that we have grown to love.
